General Conduct
1. Respect all players and staff at all times. Harassment, racism, sexism or any form of hate speech will result in a permanent ban.
2. No cheating, hacking, exploiting bugs or using any third-party software that gives an unfair advantage.
3. Do not spam chat, voice chat or any communication channel.
4. Keep all out-of-character (OOC) chat to a minimum. Use the designated OOC channels.
5. Do not advertise other servers, communities or services.
6. English only in public channels. Other languages are fine in private.
7. Do not share personal information of other players without their consent.
8. Impersonating staff members or other players is strictly prohibited.
RP Rules
9. Stay in character at all times while in-game. Breaking character without a valid reason is considered FailRP.
10. New Life Rule (NLR): After dying, you forget all events that led to your death. Do not return to the same area for 15 minutes.
11. Value your life. If you are outnumbered or at gunpoint, comply. Do not act like your character has nothing to lose.
12. No random deathmatch (RDM). You must have a valid in-character reason before engaging in any hostile action.
13. No metagaming. Do not use information your character would not realistically know.
14. Powergaming is not allowed. Do not force actions on other players or use unrealistic abilities.
15. Cop baiting — deliberately provoking law enforcement for no RP reason — is not allowed.
16. All robberies and heists require a minimum of 2 police officers online.
17. Hostages must be treated as real people. No executing hostages without a valid RP reason.
18. Do not use the /report system for in-character issues. It is for rule violations only.
Combat Rules
19. No random deathmatch (RDM). Every hostile action must have a valid in-character reason.
20. No vehicle deathmatch (VDM). Do not use vehicles as weapons unless it is part of a valid RP scenario.
21. Combat logging — disconnecting during or immediately after a combat situation — is a bannable offense.
22. Do not shoot from inside a vehicle unless you are a passenger. Drivers must stop the vehicle first.
23. Revenge killing is not allowed. If you are killed, you cannot return to the same situation.
24. Initiation is required before any hostile action. You must give the other party a chance to comply.
25. Do not shoot through walls, fences or any solid object that your character could not realistically shoot through.
Select the categories that apply to your server, edit any rules that don't fit your style, then copy in Discord format and paste directly into your rules channel.
The Discord format uses bold and underline markdown that renders properly in Discord. The plain text version is good for in-game MOTD scripts or documentation.
These rules are a starting point — every server is different. Add your own rules, remove ones that don't apply, and make them sound like your community.
