Familiar ESX pattern: resource into resources, import the SQL, add the ensure line after es_extended, configure. Scripts that create a society need their society registered too, which the included SQL handles — skipping it is why a business script sometimes installs cleanly but cannot hold money.
If you are on ESX 1.2 rather than Legacy, check the compatibility note on the listing before installing. The two branches differ in enough exports that a Legacy-only resource will throw on 1.2, and the listing tells you which is supported instead of leaving you to find out at runtime.
Legacy is the primary target because it is the maintained branch. Listings that also support 1.2 say so explicitly — the export differences between branches are large enough that a Legacy-only resource will error on 1.2.
