How to use JOAAT Hash Lab

1Paste model names or identifiers, one per line.
2Generate the case-insensitive 32-bit JOAAT hash for each name.
3Choose hexadecimal, unsigned or signed values to match the receiving API.
4Confirm a model exists in the game or installed add-on before using the hash to request it.

Before you publish

Different signed and unsigned numbers can represent the same 32-bit hash.
Hashing cannot reverse an unknown identifier or guarantee uniqueness.
Do not add spaces around a model identifier; surrounding whitespace is trimmed.

Common questions

Why is the signed hash negative?

Values with the highest bit set are negative when interpreted as signed 32-bit integers. The underlying bits match the unsigned and hexadecimal representations.

Will a generated hash make an add-on vehicle spawn?

No. The model still needs a valid installed and started resource. A numeric hash does not install or validate assets.
