Cinematic apartment-based multicharacter system for FiveM with live character peds, in-scene character creation, map spawn selector, premium slot locking and ESX/QBCore/Qbox support. Requires ox_lib and oxmysql.
The Bablo Multicharacter script (resource bablo-multicharacter, v1.1.0) replaces the default qb-multicharacter, esx_multicharacter or Qbox character selector with a fully interactive apartment scene. Every character is shown as a live ped in its own spot in the room, with smooth cinematic camera transitions as players switch between them. Before entering the city, players can see each character's name, playtime, finances and job at a glance.
New characters are created inside the same apartment environment. Players set their name, date of birth, nationality, height and gender while previewing the ped in real time, then hand off to your appearance script for clothing and skin. Supported appearance resources include illenium-appearance, fivem-appearance, qb-clothing, skinchanger, rcore_clothing, crm-appearance, bl_appearance, tgiann-clothing, codem-appearance and qs-appearance. Deleting a character requires confirmation, so nobody loses a main by accident.
After choosing a character, a map-based spawn selector lets players spawn at their last location or at any of your predefined spawn points, again with cinematic transitions. Housing integration options cover none, auto, qb-houses and qbx-apartments.
Sell extra character slots with the built-in locked-slot system (stored in a lockedslots table), restyle the UI with theming options, and translate everything through the locale files. Players also get their own settings for appearance, music and performance.
Bablo Resources lists the client footprint at roughly 0.11 ms per frame, 0.00 ms per tick and about 511 KiB of client RAM, so the selector will not weigh down a busy server.
Works with ESX, QBCore and Qbox with automatic framework detection (Config.Framework = auto | qbcore | esx | qbox), and can run standalone. Requires ox_lib and oxmysql and must start after your framework core. Configuration and editable files are open; core logic is escrow protected.
