Three popular ESX police job scripts compared on features, performance, and how they actually feel during a 30-player chase.
Police RP is the make-or-break system on a serious roleplay server. The script you pick sets the ceiling for what your cops can do.
A good police script has: cuffing/uncuffing that actually works on every framework version, vehicle impound that doesn't dupe cars, evidence collection with real persistence, an integrated MDT or proper hand-off to one, and a dispatch system that doesn't spam the chat.
For new ESX servers, start with one of the popular mid-tier scripts. They are feature-complete enough to give players a real experience without locking you into a vendor's whole ecosystem. Once your community is stable, you can swap to a premium suite if your LEO RP needs more depth.
Police scripts are usually heavy — they hook into vehicles, peds, weapons, and UI. Run resmon during a busy chase scenario and watch the average ms. Anything north of 1.5ms during a chase is going to be felt by players.
Buy from established sellers, read recent reviews (within the last 6 months — older reviews are stale in this ecosystem), and ask in the seller's Discord before committing. The right police script is the one your cop players will spend hundreds of hours inside.
